The building is located in a pleasant district of the 15th borough of Paris. At a very short distance, means of public transportation are available: the subway station Boucicaut (line n° 8) and the two bus stops of line 62, from which all parts of the city can be reached easily.  
On both sides of the thoroughfare rue de la Convention and avenue Félix Faure, just around the corner, all kinds of stores are at a walking distance: foodstores including banks, hairdressers, druggists, a supermarket Monoprix and numerous cafés (one of them providing Wi-Fi) as well as self-serve washing machines.
The apartment has just been completely refurbished (end of 2010) and most of the fixtures and appliances are brand new, so it should be quite confortable.
The owners of the apartment offered for rent reside themselves in the same building, and can be reached easily in case a problem occurs.
