The apartment was clean and modernized. The space had great flow and was airy. THe weather was cool so the apartment was cool, however I wonder if it might be warm in the summer heat and the landlord may consider putting in an air conditioning unit. The apartment did not have a phone (easily remedied with our cell phone, but a consideration for other renters. It was well equipped with new dishwasher, washer.dryer combo, teapot, iron and ironing board, tv, new stovetop, new utensils. It also had a coffee machine, microwave, fridge (no freezer though), and pull-out bed under the couch/bed in t he front room. We have two children and they were on this trip and the apartment fit us superbly, and met all our needs. The windows let in fabulous light and the apartment was very cleanly decorated and felt light and cheerful. Close to a bakery, meat shop and grocery store (all within a 30 second walk!). Also in the same distance is a tea shop, wine shop, chocolate shop, and a host of other amenities. The apartment was quiet when the windows were shut, but somewhat noisy when open. The street below is not exceptionally busy but clean. Neighbourhood is very clean and safe. Only 1 block walk and voila you are staring up at the Eiffel tower! Can't get better than that. A 5 minute walk from the Metro. A 9 out of ten for this apartment and we would be more than pleased to rent again!
