"The apartment is located in a quiet area, between the Parc Montsouris (10 minutes walk) and the Butte aux Cailles (5 minutes walk). Also in walking distances are the Cité Universitaire Park (10 minutes walk), the Place d'Italie with several shops and cinemas (15 minutes) and the Hospital Sainte Anne/Rue d'Alesia (10 minutes walk).  Several grocery and fine gourmet food stores (meat, cheese, wine, caterer, a Picard store) are located on rue de Tolbiac within walking distance, 2 minutes from the apartment. You'll also find there lots of convenience stores (Dry cleaner, drugstores, hairdressers, post-office, Monoprix). There is also a late-night/open on Sundays supermarket just around the corner.  Several restaurants can also be found on rue de Tolbiac and in the lively district of Butte aux Cailles. Two outdoor markets run on Saturdays (rue de la Glacière) and Sundays (boulevard Blanqui).  In addition to two subway lines (RER B, Line 6), the apartment is also accessible via the Tramway (Line T1) and buses (Lines 21, 62, 67, 57).
