Alésia (Paris 14°)

In Paris 14, which lies to the south, the district of Alésia (also known as Petit-Montrouge) radiates around the square bearing the same name, and also encompasses the Parc Montsouris, l’hôpital Sainte-Anne, and Les Réservoirs de la Vanne. This residential area, the result of late urbanisation as well as more recent refurbishments, offers a variety of accommodation, from large villas to smaller apartments. La Cité Universitaire, on the Boulevard Jourdan, hosts more than 5,000 students, while the flow of visitors is divided between the catacombs stretching from La Place Denfert-Rochereau to the Rue Rémy Dumoncel, and the delightful 'allées' of the park.
