Landlord's comment : This wide apartment is situated on the beautiful "Ile St Louis". The last landlord was very keen on art, books, history and music so you'll find a good amount of books (and some classical music CD's).

Notre Dame Cathedral on the old Ile de la Cité and the latin Quarter, next to Saint Germain/Saint Sulpice, are just a few steps away from this apartment. On the other side, the Marais, the Palais Royal, the Louvre, the Musée Picasso and the rue de Rivoli (shopping area) are just a short walk or 3 subway stations away. The Ile St Louis is a very posh location where celebrities and old french families have their residences.

This is also a true Parisian location with lively restaurants & cafés and grocery stores.

The flat is facing both East and West side and a private courtyard which makes the apartment very calm and quiet – far from the noisy streets of Paris.

The interior décoration is Napoleon (late Empire) style with silk curtains and Burgundy velvet material. The furniture and panelling are in Mahogany and Chestnut wood.
