While the apartment itself is a nice place to live, I am extremely disappointed in the conduct of the Lodgis agents who rented the apartment to me. When I moved in, the water and gas supplies had been turned off at the mains. I needed to call a plumber for the water to be switched back on as I could not do it myself. In the end, I spent two days without water and five days without gas (so no heating or hot water). The agent could not explain why the supplies were switched off, nor why they had not been switched on again before I moved in. They ignored my reasonable request for a refund of five days' worth of rent and the so-called "check in fee", since the apartment was basically uninhabitable for the first week that I was renting it. Furthermore, the apartment was missing some basic items e.g. bed linen, saucepans, which means that it should not have been advertised as fully furnished. Lastly, the apartment was advertised as coming with a cave, but the agent did not have the key to it and was not even sure which cave in the building belonged to the apartment. This is my second rental with Lodgis and this time around it has been a disappointment due to the unprofessional conduct of the agents. I cannot understand why Lodgis feels it is right to charge such high agency fees when the agents are not doing their jobs properly. I have requested the contact details of the owner of the apartment as I think he should be made aware of the problems, especially with the water and gas supply, but that request was also ignored.
